Fun run entries taken on the day.

Organiser: Stornoway Running and Athletics Club.

Half Marathon distance 13.1 miles, half on road half off road.

The course is unsuitable for wheelchair users.

There is also a Fun Run, entry on the day..

Half Marathon entrants must be 17 years age or over on race day.

Fun runners must be at least 6 years old. So come on Grand Dad!

The Stornoway Half Marathon forms part of the Hebridean Three Race Challenge:

Runners who take part in three out of five Half Marathons: 

• Stornoway 29th May
• Benbecula 5th June
• Isle of Skye 12th June
• Isle of Barra 03rd July
• Isle of Harris 10th July

will receive a special commemorative memento, and there will be team and individual prizes across the series.

If you want a change of scene, you couldn’t do better than to sample these scenic atmospheric races.

There will be a Saturday evening ceilidh.
